Artistic directors: humberto leon & carol liminspiration/location: the last show for the two designers, after spending 8 years under the artistic direction of kenzo.to mark the event, they called in the singer solange knowles to attend the menswear and womenswear shows, with her musicians and dancers.they were inspired by japanese photographer hiroshi yamazaki, known for his landscapes between the sun and the ocean.collection: men walk the runway in lightweight outfits, with shorts coordinated with their open shirts, fine knit sweaters with hoods and ultra-comfortable suits with wrinkle effects, in sea-green and light pink tones.women wear short tops with long sleeves or add a knotted jacket. the dresses are ribbed. they look like mermaids, with this wardrobe composed of textured effects, pearls and pastel tones, reworked to recreate the appearance of water.to note: the embroidery and additions of feathers and pearls,multiple accessories, from mules, to sneakers, to net bags,the girls' looks, with very long hair,the incredible staging.interviews :jean-paul goude :as always with kenzo, its aura is above all else. what is interesting is that they push the boundaries or stay closer to the norm, but it stays in the same family, the same spirit. i find that really amazing. miss fame :it was something very powerful with the curtains being pulled away, then the live performances, the trumpets, the models and then the stage performance. it was so dimensional and the clothing looked great. it’s got excitement to it. it has this cool-girl effect, you want to be her, you want to be brave enough to wear kenzo. for me it gives a sense of coolness and courage to be fashionable. show music (only to be used in the context of the show, covered by the right to information)
