Artistic director: bruno sialelliinspiration: with the front row composed of uma thurman, beatrice dalle and asia argento, excitement is revived at the lanvin show, which is reborn through a mixed collection in a spectacular setting amongst stones and statues at the cluny museum in paris.collection: fluidity and movement. various dresses are worn with flaps of materials and textures cut on the bias that tie up on the front. the scarf, lanvin’s symbol appears in all shapes finishing around necks of dresses and integrated into a jumper and cardigan. the prints chosen tell stories, from babar to aztec motifs as well as drawings of sensual women.many propositions of impeccable outerwear with leather jackets, capes and long coats.men respond to women with elegant suits, flowing shirts and brightly toned denim.note: multiple propositions of accessories, supple boots, big totes, mini bags worn around the neck & kaia gerber who closes the show.interview with jean-philippe hecquet it’s the year of renewal, the brand is relaunching and we will have a good base to lean on with a very strong show in order to continue to work hard. we are delighted to have all the press with us to support a brand that everyone loves and that everyone wants to see revived so it’s very important, and that’s why it’s so emotional. interview with bruno sialelli:there are many angles to this collection, from our inspirations to the way we look at our products and integrate new ones. for me, it’s important to propose daywear that is strong so this was already the first constraint which was followed by finding new, beautiful and strong inspirations.flowing and moving textures represent lanvin, it’s the service of movement and comfort, which is the best starting point to make products, especially today, as women like to be at ease and wear something they enjoy. we wanted to work on the logo and put a language and vocabulary in place. there are also very different references such as babar. i am a small french boy who grew up reading babar, its sublime like graphism and i told myself that this would be great for lanvin. jean de brunhoff was friends with jeanne lanvin, and this referenced the very prolific creativity from the start of the century.music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
