Trend Bible: Kids lifestyle Trends - AW 11/12

Published
Jul 20, 2010

2011 is a year torn between two polar opposite moods; between being reserved, conservative, careful, investing in the practical and functional for the long-term benefits, and on the other hand being exuberant, pushing forward, celebrating life and the end of the recession.

At times, Autumn Winter sports a devil-may-care attitude as we see colour and pattern generally reserved for summer seasons used in wild abandon for winter. There is a sense that the consumer, although revitalised with a new enthusiasm and the desire for a fresh start, will still exercise caution and conservatism around spending and saving with the painful memories of the recession still fresh in our minds.
