In the next few months India should see the arrival of collections from DKNY and Donna Karan New York. DLF Retail Brands, promoter of multiple international brands in India, has signed a contract with Donna Karan Studio. As a result, new independent boutiques should open in New Delhi next month, at DLF Place in the Emporio Mall in the Vasant Kunj district and at DLF Place in the shopping centre in Saket.

These new boutiques will house DKNY ready-to-wear collections and accessories. Additional Donna Karan New York and DKNY stores should rapidly follow them to the Indian capital.
“Following our recent entry into the markets in South Korea and China, our arrival in India is in line with our international expansion strategy. This expansion was made possible by the efficiency of our local partners”, explained Mark Weber - the president of DKI and director general of LVMH Inc. – when talking to Women’s Wear Daily.

DLF also signed contracts with Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and Salvatore Ferragamo.
