Yoga-inspired apparel brand Lululemon has secured a 7,500 sq ft store in the market’s flower building on Commercial Street, marking the first opening of the label in East London. The US company has also recently announced plans to launch a European flagship store on Regent Street this winter.

Also debuting in Shoreditch are contemporary fashion brands Rag & Bone and Zadig & Voltaire, which have leased a 2,000 sq ft unit and a 1,500 sq ft store, both on Commercial Street.

All three stores are set to open by autumn 2016.

Old Spitalfields market has also recently added a new beauty brand to its retail mix. Estée Lauder-owned Jo Malone opened a 1,200 sq ft unit on Brushfield Street earlier in May.

This also follows the opening of the new McQ by Alexander McQueen flagship store on the corner of Commercial Street and Lamb Street.

As one of London’s finest Victorian market halls and located in the heart of Shoreditch, Old Spitalfields Market is home to an eclectic mix of global retailers, independent brands and market stalls.

Other brands with presence at Old Spitalfields Market include Benefit, Cutler and Gross, Hackett, Fred Perry and Jigsaw.
