Zadig & Voltaire is bolstering its senior management structure. On Monday, the Parisian luxury label announced the appointment of Arnaud Louet to the newly created post of deputy general manager in charge of finance. Louet will also become a member of Zadig & Voltaire’s executive committee.

Louet, 40, who will start in his new position on July 3, was previously the CFO of French fashion retailer Maisons du Monde, of whose executive committee he was also a member. Before Maisons du Monde, Louet worked in a similar position at Conforama and at French catering group Flo.

Louet's position at Zadig & Voltaire, where he reports to General Manager Jean-Jacques Guével and CEO and founder Thierry Gillier, is a new role within the fashion label’s structure. A position that has been created to enable Zadig & Voltaire to “pursue an ambitious expansion strategy,” as stated by the label in a press release, and will chiefly involve “supporting the growth of Zadig & Voltaire’s business in France and internationally.”

Zadig & Voltaire generates a revenue of €300 million in 30 countries and is active on several fronts simultaneously. It has high expectations for its menswear line, as stated by the management in an interview with FashionNetwork.com at the start of the year, and also for its expansion in Greater China, where it plans to open 45 stores in five years.
