UK's SuperGroup names Sunnucks non-executive director

Steve Sunnucks, who served as global president for Gap until December 2014 and has also held executive positions at New Look and worked at Burton Group Plc, J. Sainsbury Plc, and Marks and Spencer Plc., has been made non-executive director of SuperGroup Plc.

Sunnucks will take up his role at the Superdry owner on March 1, 2016. In other SuperGroup management news, Ken McCall has confirmed his intention to step down from his position as an independent non-executive director. He will leave SuperGroup's board on 13 July, 2016.

Peter Bamford, Chairman, said: "We are delighted that Steve will be joining the SuperGroup Board. He brings substantial experience in apparel retail, particularly in the USA which will become an increasingly important market to us as we deliver our strategy of becoming a global lifestyle brand.
