UK's Sports Direct to open new stores in Retford and Market Drayton

The growth of Sports Direct, the UK's largest sports retailer, doesn't show any signs of slowing down.

The chain, which already has more than 400 stores, just added two new ones to its portfolio. The new stores are located in Retford and Market Drayton on the sites of former Pound Stretchers, and CBRE acted on behalf of Sports Direct.

James Keany, Head of National Agency at CBRE UK, said: “Sports Direct’s expansion to these new prime premises in Nottinghamshire and Shropshire is evidence of its strong retail performance across the country and its continued appetite to acquire and open new stores.”
