The milestone marks a particularly positive year for Joules, which recorded a 22% rise in revenue to £117 million in its financial 2014/15 year. EBITDA grew 18% to £10.7m in the same period, while UK revenue increased 17.5% across retail, online and wholesale business, particularly with John Lewis.

Tom Joule, founder of Joules, commented: “Joules has grown almost beyond recognition since I started it more than 25 years ago, and I’m so proud of everything we’ve achieved. We might now have reached 100 stores, but our mission remains exactly the same: to create fun, quality products which stand the test of time, and to build on being what our customers love."

Joules is known for a carefully designed range of high-quality products in bold colours and prints. It sells home accessories, womenswear, menswear and childrenswear through its Little Joule and Baby Joule collection, as well as eyewear through a partnership with Mondottica. It has stores in the UK, US., Germany and France and operates across retail stores, online, catalogue mail order, wholesale and licensing channels.
