Sweden's Filippa K and Little Liffner launch capsule bag collection

Filippa K, the Swedish fashion brand known for its simple, elegant styles, has teamed up with Swedish accessories brand Little Liffner, a favourite among the country's fashionistas, on a new capsule collection.

The line features three handmade bags and combines Filippa K's minimalist style with Little Liffner's classic designs. It consists of a doctor bag and two variations of the saddle bag, and will be available in selected Filippa K stores from September 2015.

The bags are made from Italian calf leather and also feature chunky chains. In January, Little Liffner was awarded Accessory Designer of the Year 2015 by Elle Sweden.

"We wanted to create a bag collection that enhances the timeless quality of our aesthetic. Styles that feel simple yet strong, resonance well with the Filippa K woman," says Nina Bogstedt, Head of Design at Filippa K.

"Having grown up with the Filippa K aesthetic close to my heart it’s a pleasure to explore our common grounds through this collaboration," says Paulina Liffner von Sydow, Founder and Designer behind Little Liffner.
