Swarovski UK has received a prestigious Royal Warrant of Appointment as a manufacturer and supplier of crystals to The Queen.

The warrant, essentially a royal seal of approval, has been granted to Nadja Swarovski, the first female member of the Swarovski executive board, on behalf of the company.

She said: “This is a significant honor, which acknowledges the quality of our product and reflects the ongoing provision of crystal to the British Royal Family.”

Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition issued to select companies that supply goods and services to the British Royal Family. Having the royal endorsement means Swarovski will be able to display the coveted Royal Coat of Arms.

Also having a Royal Warrant are jewellery brands including Mappin & Webb, Cartier, Garrard, G Collins & Sons, and Bentley & Skinner.

Founded in Austria in 1895, Swarovski is run by the fifth generation of family members and made revenues of about 3.5 billion euros in 2018. The group has more than 3,000 stores in around 170 countries.
