The company has now hired Yasmin Sewell, the fashion consultant and street style icon who has previously worked in senior creative positions at Browns and Liberty, to be its new fashion director. According to Condé Nast-owned Vogue UK, Sewell will draw on "her deep industry-wide insight", "holistic analysis" and "visionary advice and strategy" as she heads up the site's fashion team.

"Yasmin's unique vision for products, trends and talents will be pivotal in Style.com's growth," said president of Style.com Franck Zayan. "She is one of the most sought-after consultants in the industry, so having her as a full-time member of our team is a great accomplishment."

"This is a game-changing project and I'm thrilled to be working with the world's best and most exciting brands, and to set a strong vision for the evolution of Style.com," added Sewell.

When it launches in 2016, Style.com will let users shop the UK editions of Condé Nast titles including Vogue and GQ.
