The trainer gallery, located within the store’s existing shoe department on the second floor, meets an increasing demand for women’s sneakers with 700 styles divided into two categories.

The ‘fashion’ edit offers 264 options across Pre- and SS18 collections from top luxury brands including Chloe, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga and Gucci, while the ‘sneaker head’ section includes everything from Nikes to Converse x CDG and Vans. The latter will also manage special launches like Yeezy's popular trainer and Off-White collaborations.

The department store said trainers have become a big trend in the womenswear sector, and it has doubled its buy of popular brands such as Balenciaga and McQueen to keep up with demand.

The sneaker space also features Nike’s 1 Reimagined collection, becoming the first physical location to stock the range of reworked Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 designs.
