Ben Hurren takes up newly-created role of Head of Brand Buying at Reiss

He joins from high-end fashion retailer Flannels where he was Head of Menswear Elevation. Additionally, he has over 15 years’ experience within luxury retail having also spent six years at Selfridges where he was Buying Manager Men’s Designer RTW, Accessories and Shoes, and also Harvey Nichols.

His remit will include steering brand buying across menswear, womenswear and kidswear, with a mission to “identify and bring on-onboard like-minded brands and category specialists to complement the Reiss look” while also “giving the customer a complete wardrobe beyond the Reiss brand”.

As part of its product expansion drive, Reiss has recently introduced selections from LA-based premium denim specialists Paige and Manchester-based outfitters Private White VC in-store and online. It has also launched a collaboration with fast-expanding sportswear brand Castore and with the Oliver Cheshire’s Ché brand.

Reiss Chief Customer Officer Sally-Anne Newson said: “Our customer trusts the Reiss look and our ability to curate edits. We’ll be adding these from premium brands to take their style further."
