Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop to open first international store in London

Multi-brand Indian fashion retailer Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop will open its first international brick-and-mortar store in London, UK, on November 9.

Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop has chosen Grosvenor Street in London’s luxury shopping district Mayfair for its first-ever international store launch. Bollywood celebrity and style icon Sonam Kapoor Ahuja will host the launch party.

Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s e-commerce store houses over 500 Indian designers including Manish Arora, Gaurav Gupta, Tarun Tahiliani, Papa Don't Preach, House of Masaba, Rohit Bal, and Anamika Khanna, among others.

The new London store will feature a selection of Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s extensive brand selection and will give London’s shoppers the chance to see many of these brands offline for the first time. 

Following the UK store opening, Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s owner Purple Style Lab’s CEO Abhishek Agarwal plans to open stores in the U.S., Canada, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore, he told FashionNetwork.com in an exclusive interview in February. Agarwal also shared that the business plans to follow the London store opening with an event. 

Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop launched as a multi-brand e-commerce store in April 2012 and has since expanded into the offline retail space with a total of eight stores in India. The business was fully acquired by Purple Style Labs from its founder Pernia Qureshi in July 2018.
