New West End Company adds more big retail names to its board

New West End Company, the UK’s largest retail Business Improvement District (BID), has made a number of additions to its board.

The new board members are meant to "steer the strategy and capitalise on the multi-billion investment of Crossrail and major regeneration schemes in London’s retail heartland over the next decade," the company stated.

They are: Andrew Murphy, Retail Director, John Lewis, Nick Hollingworth, CEO of Austin Reed, Brian Duffy, CEO, Aurum Holdings, Barratt West, MD of UK and Ireland, Tiffany & Co., Peter Gross, Chief Operating Officer, House of Fraser, Paul Lorraine, UK General Manager, Longchamp and Andrew Caplan, Director of Stores – South, Boots UK.

Sir Peter Rogers, Chairman of New West End Company said: "I’m delighted to welcome our new appointments onto an already strong Board of New West End Company. London’s West End is a major economic driver for the Country generating over £51bn to the national economy each year. It is vital the West End business voice is heard with the new Government and a future Mayor. Our job is to ensure we have enlightened policies and investment for the world’s top shopping and leisure destination to thrive."
