The group said she will be “a great asset” to Figleaves thanks to her deep retail experience and entrepreneurial vision for fashion e-commerce. Lahage has spent her career building profitable global business from TJX (TK Maxx) to Net-A-Porter to eBay and more recently sitting on the board at Navabi as chief merchant and non-executive director.

She worked as a consultant to the CEO at Net-A-Porter Group in 2010 and joined eBay as vice president of fashion for two years until 2012, where she drove innovation and developed top line sales.

In 2006 Lahage also conceived and launched Koodos, the UK’s first online discount boutique for designer brands in the UK.

N Brown CEO Angela Spindler said she was “delighted” that Miriam is joining the team. “Her retail digital expertise is really second to none and will help us to support our growth ambitions for the brand.”

Natalie Burrows, who has been serving as CEO in an interim basis, will be staying on in the newly created role of customer director.
