H&M’s Monki brand has entered the activewear segment for the first time with the launch of its Feel Good Wear range this week.

The collection has been designed “for movement and functionality” and comes as activewear has become a key category for just about every fashion retailer serving the mass-market to offer.

“It’s important for us to be able to expand our category offering with activewear, so we can continue to empower young women to feel good while being active in their own way,” said Caroline Carlryd, the label’s Head of Design.

The small collection features a sports top, singlet and a pair of leggings in various colours and plain or pattern finishes. The fabric features include breathability, quick-dry, wrinkle-resistance and a thicker weave for more support. The materials comprise 21% elastane and 79% recycled polyester, “in line with Monki’s Planet Power long-term commitment to only use recycled and more sustainably sourced materials in the future”.

It’s also size-inclusive and is available in a size range from XXS to XXL.
