In a first for the brand, Capri Holdings-owned Michael Kors has partnered with the 007 film franchise for a limited-edition capsule collection.

Made in celebration of the release of the 25th James Bond film 'No Time To Die,' the capsule will include a total of three pieces, including the Bond Carryall, Bond Duffel, and the Bond Bancroft satchel, which is worn by the character Moneypenny --played by Naomie Harris -- in the latest bond film.

Set to launch in late March, the collection will be available to shop in select Michael Kors stores around the world and online at michaelkors.com and 007store.com.

"Jet-set glamour, sophistication, speed, energy—these are all words that come to mind when you think about the world of James Bond," said designer Michael Kors. "They're also at the core of our brand DNA. This collaboration was really the perfect union of fashion and film."

To celebrate the launch of No Time To Die and the unveiling of the MKC x 007 capsule collection, Michael Kors will host a VIP party at its new Milan showroom, followed by a private dinner during Milan Fashion Week in February.

Parent company Capri Holdings, which also owns Versace and Jimmy Choo, has seen the coronavirus panic deliver a hit to its business, causing approximately 50 of its 225 stores in mainland China to close temporarily and forcing the company to cut revenue forecasts by around $100m for Q4 and the full year.

However, CEO John Idol reported early this month that overall outlook for the group and its brands remains strong and accessories are the key at Versace and Jimmy Choo.
