Irving Penn’s portraits of Leonard Bernstein and T.S. Elliot inspire the fall 2016 collection that consists of suiting, two-tone sweaters and trousers, luxurious outerwear and fine knitwear, as well as accessories and shoes. The brand is described as working between  “fashion fantasy and lifestyle reality,” and offers a focused selection of essential men’s products that will not overwhelm the customer.

The Helbers bio states, “The essence of Helbers lies in the pleasure of forging a product with a tangible dose of life, and poised with the intelligence of today’s technology to enhance its longevity. This is forever fashion.”

Born in Rotterdam, Paul Helbers served as men’s Studio Director of Maison Margiela and men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton under Marc Jacobs until 2011. While developing his eponymous label, he served as Creative Director for Callens, a women’s athleisure brand.

The Helbers fall 2016 collection is available at Barneys, Club 21, L’Eclaireur Sévigné, Joyce, Matches Fashion, United Arrows and Mr. Porter.
