Maesa appoints Claire Bories-Azeau as Creative and Marketing Director Europe

Maesa is a specialist in the design and fabrication of fragrances and cosmetics, and has recently appointed Claire Bories-Azeau as Creative and Marketing Director Europe.

Claire Bories-Azeau previously worked at The Body Shop, in charge of communications and marketing for France. She began her career as Marketing and Sales Group Leader at Colgate-Palmolive, before working with Yves Rocher, Coty Prestige and L’Occitane.

Claire Bories-Azeau will be based at the Maesa group's headquarters in Levallois-Perret (France), and will oversee a team of eight group leaders and product managers, and nine studio designers.

Nearly a year ago, Maesa acquired P2 Cosmetics, a beauty products brand selling exclusively through the 1,800 German stores of drugstore retailer DM. The acquisition allowed Maesa to strengthen its portfolio of exclusive brands, featuring Elle (for retailer Monoprix) and Flower Beauty, which account for 50% of Maesa's business.
