Cudoni, the London-based luxury resale service, has teamed up with former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh to sell an exclusive fashion edit and raise funds for Maggie’s, a charity supporting people who live with cancer.

Her selection is made up of pieces from her own wardrobe, including dresses by Temperley and Isabel Marant, a Burberry trench coat, Gianvito Rossi heels and other covetable items.

All proceeds will go to Maggie’s, said the luxury marketplace. Re-launched in 2017, the firm sells pre-loved designer products such as clothing, handbags, jewellery, accessories and shoes from the world’s most expensive brands including Chanel, Dior, Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent.

Last year it raised £425,000 in a funding round led by Giles Brook, CEO of Vita Coco EMEA; Matt Cooper, chairman of Octopus Investments; Paul Schneider, global head of product at Exane BNP Paribas; and Keith MacDonald, a partner at Ernst & Young, among others.

The past few months have seen several fashion brands enter the resale space, with Farfetch and Burberry leading the wave of investment into the second-hand luxury resale market as consumers look for more environmentally-friendly ways of shopping.

According to research from Boston Consulting Group, the second-hand luxury resale industry will account for nearly 10% of the entire luxury market by 2021.

Commenting on the partnership with Cudoni, Millie Mackintosh said: “I’m thrilled to be working with Cudoni to sell a range of luxury items from my wardrobe in aid of Maggie’s - a charity close to my heart that support those affected by cancer.”
