Bravissimo, a lingerie brand dedicated to supporting and celebrating women who are D cup and above, will be opening a 3,978 sq ft regional flagship store at St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff.

Bravissimo opened its first store in Birmingham last year

The new shop will replace an existing store in Cardiff and will stock the full collection including Bravissimo own-brand lingerie, swimwear and clothing alongside an assortment of lingerie and swimwear from other leading brands.

Set across two floors, the store design will be created by leading interior design agency Four by Two, which has also developed retail concepts for Dune, L.K. Bennett and Harvey Nichols.

The Bravissimo store at St David’s will be located on the upper level on the Grand Arcade, in close proximity to John Lewis.

"We're really excited to be relocating our existing Cardiff shop and opening a flagship store in St David's. We opened our first shop in Queens Arcade 10 years ago so we have lots of loyal customers in the city and beyond,” said Bravissimo founder and chief executive Sarah Tremellen.

St David's is owned by the St David's Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and Intu. The shopping centre is anchored by the largest John Lewis outside of London, as well as Debenhams and Marks & Spencer.

There is a particular focus on mixing national and international retailers, such as H&M, Primark, New Look and River Island, with premium brands and independents. These include Hugo Boss, Radley, Vivienne Westwood and Jo Malone

The retail mix was further strengthened last year with the arrival of several leading fashion and lifestyle brands including Victoria's Secret, Kiehl's, Footlocker and Seasalt.
