Le Coq Sportif names Frank Heissat as CEO

Published
Jun 12, 2013

PARIS, France - Following recent store openings in London and Barcelona, Le Coq Sportif is continuing on its path to international success. The French lifestyle brand, whose majority owner is Swiss group Airesis, has over the past few seasons focused on diversifying its offering by developing its performance line.

Along with developments in the product department comes a change in leadership at the brand with Marc-Henri Beausire leaving his position as CEO at Le Coq Sportif. He will remain president and shareholder at Le Coq Sportif and will continue as chief executive officer of Airesis, a position that he has held since 2006. Taking over the position is Frank Heissat, until recently vice president at Oakley for the EMEA zone. Heissat officially took up his new functions as of June 1.

“Frank Heissat worked in marketing and sales in France, as well as internationally, for some of the biggest global sporting brands including Nike, Puma and Oxbow,” explains the brand. “With more than 18 years in the sporting sector, in addition to a fresh, new energy, Frank brings with him an excellent knowledge of business and managerial issues that will help Le Coq Sportif in its new phase of development.”

A successor at Oakley has yet to be named.
