As Angel, its flagship fragrance with a star-shaped bottle, celebrates its 30th anniversary, Mugler is changing pilots. Danièle Lahana-Aidenbaum, who has been the brand's deputy marketing director since last March, has been promoted to president of Mugler fashion and fragrances.

Lahana-Aidenbaum is taking over from Sandrine Groslier who has just been appointed president of luxury fragrances, a newly created entity within the luxury division, which comprises eight brands including Maison Margiela and Atelier Cologne.

Lahana-Aidenbaum has been with the l'Oréal group for 16 years. She started in 2006 as product manager for Biotherm before becoming group manager for the natural skin care brand. In 2011 she joined Lancôme, and after holding various positions there, and working for the American makeup brand It Cosmetics owned by L'Oreal since 2016, she was then appointed in 2019 international deputy marketing director of Lancôme.

L'Oreal, which in 2021 had sales of 32.28 billion euros, acquired in March 2020 the Mugler and Azarro brands from Clarins.
