Knomo, the lifestyle brand blending technology and design to create functional accessories, has partnered with payments provider Klarna to drive online sales.

The brand is adopting Klarna’s checkout solution to offer online shoppers a more seamless experience. The technology allows shoppers to purchase products by simply entering their email and delivery address, without having to fill-out card details - this means purchases can be done faster than before. The partnership also gives eligible customers 14 days to pay for their purchases interest-free, allowing them to pay at a time that is most convenient.

“Around 40% of our sales are made online, so integrating the Klarna Checkout was a natural decision for us. By making the online payments process simple, smooth and safe, we are looking forward to improving the online shopping journey for all our customers,” says Will North, Global Ecom Trading Manager at Knomo.

The brand specialises in bags and accessories that help fashion-conscious consumers get organised while also protecting their tech devices. Knomo backpacks and clutches are equipped with padded compartments for laptops, Bluetooth location tracking and special passport pockets, while leather panels and a smart design give the pieces a stylish look.

Knomo is the latest UK-based retailer to adopt Klarna’s payment services, joining companies such as Schuh, Arcadia Group, Asos, Finery and Lyst.

Klarna also announced this week a new partnership with Visa to accelerate online and mobile commerce.
