Kids Cavern to lead premium repositioning of Liverpool's Metquarter

Kids Cavern, billed as a department store for kids, is relocating to a 15,000 sq ft brand new store inside Liverpool’s Metquarter shopping centre this September.

The brand is the UK’s largest independent retailer for children’s clothing and shoes, stocking high-end brands including Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Kenzo Kids, Roberto Cavalli Junior, Armani Junior, Hugo Boss, Canada Goose, and Moncler.

Established in 1989 inside Cavern Walks, the company is now expanding into a major location in the heart of Liverpool, and kicking off a major effort to reposition the shopping centre.

The new Kids Cavern store will include a soda bar, iPad stations and ‘chillout areas’ for parents.

Queensberry is hoping to reposition Metquarter as a premium shopping and leisure destination, and is currently in negotiation with several other retail and restaurant brands for further signings.

Other premium retailers at Metquarter include MAC, Hugo Boss, Jo Malone, Kurt Geiger and LK Bennett.
