British top model Kate Moss is set to make her debut on the big screen with "Absolutely Fabulous", a movie about the fashion world that will be shot this fall, according to the British press.
Now 41, Kate Moss is expected to play in the movie written by Jennifer Saunders, the scriptwriter of the eponymous BBC series which marked the British television scene of the 1990s.
"I can confirm that Kate will be in the movie. We still don't know if it will be a spoken role of not, but she will definitely be in it," declared Jennifer Saunders to the British media.
Kate Moss already played a secondary role in some of the episodes of the series, about the personal and professional life of two influential women in the London fashion industry.
The famous top model will join other celebrities such as ex-Spice Girl Emma Bunton, and British singer and composer Lulu.
According to the Daily Mirror, Victoria Beckham might also make an appearance in the movie.
Most of the movie is expected to take place in London, although a few scenes will be shot in France and in the Bahamas islands.
Jennifer Saunders, who had one of the two leading roles in the famous BBC program, explained that Joanna Lumley, who was also in the original series, had a key influence in the decision to shot the movie.
