Jennifer Lawrence is 2015 highest paid actress according to Forbes

Lawrence, the 25 year old star of Silver Linings Playbook and Hunger Games, topped Forbes’s 2015 ranking of highest paid actresses with $52 million dollars in earnings in the last 12 months. 

The Hollywood actress shot to the top of the list thanks to her role in The Hunger Games, as well as an endorsement contract as the face of Dior Beauty.

Scarlett Johansson came in second, earning $35.5 million dollars in the past year thanks to “The Avengers”, her starring role in the action film “Lucy” and endorsement deals with Dolce & Gabanna and Sodastream.

In third place is Melissa McCarthy, the Hollywood comedian who made $23 million dollars with movies “Spy” and “Tammy”.

The Chinese actress Fan Bingbing ranked fourth, becoming the only non-American star to make the list. Bingbing, who made her name in X-Men: Days of Future Past, earned $21 million dollars thanks to the movie The White-Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom and endorsements with Chopard and L’Oreal.

Jennifer Aniston clocked in right after with $16 million dollars, mostly from endorsement deals with Aveeno, SmartWater and Living Proof. Another actress who made few movies in the scoring period but still made the list in sixth place is Julia Roberts thanks to deals with Lancôme, Givenchy and others.

Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon scored the seventh place with $15 million dollars each. Closing the Forbes list are Anne Hathaway and Kristen Stewart making each $12 million dollars in the past 12 months.
