Jack Wills opens first outlet store in Lincolnshire
British-heritage inspired clothing retailer Jack Wills is to take its off-price retail concept to Springfields Outlet, where it will open the first Jack Wills outlet store in Lincolnshire.
Known for its wardrobe classics, the brand is set to open a 1,500-square-foot unit at the outlet centre, joining other leading brands including Joules, Gap, White Staff, Next and FatFace.
Home to 54 outlet stores, the signing is the fourth in four months for the shopping destination.
Ian Sanderson, director of SLR, said that Springfields Outlet’s mix of fashion, leisure and food & beverage offer is increasingly attracting customers from further afield and encouraging visitors to stay for longer.
“The expectation of being able to shop at discount all year round has positioned the outlet sector as offering the best of both worlds: year-round discounts and the opportunity to try a product before making a purchase. Consequently, the outlet sector is increasingly becoming part of retailers’ strategies, resulting in new, premium, signings at Springfields,” he added.
The outlet centre is benefitting from a £1.2 million expansion of the Springfields Adventure Land. Launched in the summer, the attraction has contributed to a significant rise in both like-for-like footfall and revenue.
