J. Crew and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund partner for a 5th time

Published

J. Crew and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund have unveiled its 5th collaboration. This season, 2014 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Paul Andrew and runner-ups Eva Fehren and Ryan Roche have designed capsule collections with the company.

Shoes by Paul Andrew J Crew

"It's been such privilege to work with this talented group of designers, said Tom Mora, Head of J. Crew Women’s Design. "They are all incredibly humble and each of them has really developed their own strong design DNA. I'm really excited about what we've done together and the ways we've been able to reinterpret what they do for the J.Crew woman."

British-born, New York City-based Paul Andrew is the first shoe designer to win the award, and he leads the way with a collection of heels. Ryan Roche, who is known for her acclaimed knits, was inspired by vintage 1970s knitwear. Eva Fehren rounds out the collection with accessories inspired by the architecture of her home city, New York City.

Andrew added, "Collaborating with J.Crew was so much fun - there were almost no limitations on what the shoes could look like and I'm thrilled with the final result; an assortment of chic, elegant and joyful styles that embrace color and print."

Last year, J. Crew and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund tapped winners Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of Public School, Juan Carlos Obando and Marc Alary for capsule collections. In 2013, winner Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman, Tabitha Simmons and Jennifer Meyer produced collaborations with the company. Other designers that have taken part in the collaboration include winners Billy Reid and Joseph Altuzarra, Prabal Gurung, Eddie Borgo, Pamela Love, and Shane Gabier and Chris Peters of Creatures of the Wind.

The 2015 collection will be available on June 3rd and is available now for pre-order.
