Isabel Manns and Taylor Yates open Marylebone pop-up

As London start to spring back to some sort of normal life, a number of pop-ups are opening alongside the reopening of major names in the city centre. British womenswear designer Isabel Manns along with bag brand Taylor Yates have launched a joint pop-up shop at 96 Marylebone High Street.

The pop-up shop includes both of the labels’ latest collections, “while also offering customers the opportunity to shop all previous collections” from them.

The main focus is the Isabel Manns label. Mann’s overall approach to her collections is “Reversibility, Sustainability and British Made” and as a response to wider trends in the market, as well as current circumstances, the latest offer is completely seasonless. The new collection includes pieces that are exclusive to the store and not yet available online.

Customers also have the option of booking a private appointment at the pop-up with the designer herself and getting 20% off.

The new store is an interesting idea that avoids the problem of collection waste and unsupportable markdowns on previous collections, and given that both of the labels focus on sustainability and doing good, it's perhaps no surprise that 10% of all in-store purchases will be donated to Maggie’s Cancer Charity.

The pop-up has opened with a limit of up to six customers in-store at any time, although they hope to relax the rules as lockdown is eased further.
