The Couture Club has collaborated with rapper and grime artist Hardy Caprio to launch the Manchester-based retailer’s first ever unisex collection.

Caprio co-designed the collection that “embodies the artist’s unique style and vibrant energy… creating outfits for each aspect of his lifestyle, from the street to the studio to the stage”.

The 30-piece bespoke collaboration features “day-to-night, casual-to-smart” gender-neutral, androgynous fits and size-inclusive styles, ranging from XS to 3XL. Prices start at £9.99 and higher-end streetwear items cost up to £94.99.

“Hardy’s silhouette choices create an outfit for each aspect of his lifestyle, from the street to the studio to the stage”, said The Couture Club.
Specifically, the range includes casual varsity basketball styles, smart paisley twinsets, statement oversized graphic tees, and essential basics and accessories. The line incorporates versatile pastel tones with vibrant colour pops, with mesh, velour, and bandana detailing, neon tie-dye, and acid wash finishes, “encompassing a vibrant festival feel”.

Hayley Shashua, head of Marketing & Creatives at The Couture Club, said: “This is our first music collaboration…so it was important that we found the right representative for our brand. Everything that Hardy is about, from his personality, his music, his wholesome outlook on life, his morals, and the level of responsibility that comes with his high-profile position in popular culture, made him the ideal collaborator for Couture Club".

Caprio added: “Fashion and rap go hand in hand. Rap is a form of expression, like fashion. So naturally you get rappers maybe talking about their fashion because that represents them, and then that feeds back into fashion, so I think there’s great synergy between them”.
