Gregory looking to intensify its presence on the European market

Purchased by Samsonite this past June, outdoor backpack manufacturer Gregory Mountain Products, founded in California, is to launch a collection specifically designed for the European market.

And, to strengthen its presence in Europe, the brand is planning to develop a dedicated marketing strategy.

"We want this brand to become one of the main players in the European backpack market," emphasised Fabio Rugarli, President of Samsonite Europe.

In addition, to reassure its European retailers, Samsonite has specified that the Gregory Mountain Products commercial structure remains unchanged, meaning that Andrea Meerholz retains her position as the brand director for the European market. She will be working in Samsonite's Swiss offices near Zurich.
