Francesco Russo launches at UK's Harvey Nichols

Francesco Russo, the Italian luxury footwear designer who has worked at Costume National and Miu Miu and created the Tribute sandal at YSL, is bringing his own brand to UK's Harvey Nichols.

New to Harvey Nichols for SS16 is Russo's mainline collection. The designer doesn't create traditional seasonal collections; instead he creates bespoke, unique shoes. For Harvey Nichols, Russo is also exclusively launching his Made to Order service at the Knightsbridge flagship store in London.

The service will be located in a pop-up space on the store's first floor and let customers order custom-made shoes. They will have a choice of 11 different styles, in Tejus leather or crocodile, with 20 different colour options, from cerise to cobalt, and the shoes will be produced in the Francesco Russo Ateliers in Italy.

With his exceptional talent and one-of-a-kind concept, Francesco Russo is one of the most sensational shoe designers to emerge in a long time. After years of experience in key positions at the most reputable fashion houses, Francesco launched his own brand two years ago, specialising in truly luxurious, exclusive shoes,” said Jasmin Sanya, Buyer, Harvey Nichols.

The collection will retail from £425 to £1,345, while Made to Order shoes will cost £1,500 to £6,500.
