For International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8, the Fossil brand has teamed up with Los Angeles artist and illustrator Bijou Karman to create a collection of jewelry and accessories in honor of the female gender. A quarter of the proceeds from the new venture will be donated to a nonprofit organization working for girls' education.

"I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women's Rights” will be the theme of the next International Women's Day, which will be celebrated on March 8, 2020. Numerous ready-to-wear and accessories brands have planned to mark the occasion with special collections, the proceeds of which will in part be donated to organizations dedicated to promoting gender equality, and education and independence for women.

In support of the cause, recreational goods manufacturer Fossil is presenting a capsule in collaboration with Los Angeles-based artist and illustrator Bijou Karman, who is notably known for her 1960s-inspired portraits of women. Four of her works, which have been created exclusively for the collection, are now being featured on a line of limited edition watches which will be boxed in special presentation cases. Two pairs of earrings and two tote bags will also be included in the collection.

A quarter of the proceeds from the new venture will be donated to Girl Rising, a global nonprofit working for girls' education and equality.

The Bijou Karman x Fossil collection is available from a selection of the brand's stores, and online from Fossil.com.
