The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, the business behind the regeneration of Bracknell’s town centre, has announced that shoe retailer Foot Locker will be taking a 3,600 sq ft store at the £240m new retail and cultural area named The Lexicon.

The store, located on Braccan Walk, adds to further new signings including Australian stationery retailer Smiggle, British jeweller Beaverbrooks and Chinese restaurant Tang’s.

Scheduled to open in spring 2017, the regeneration scheme has already pre-let 66% of its floor area. Among others, the retail mix will bring top brands such as Fenwick, Topshop, Topman, Marks & Spencer, River Island, H&M and Primark to Bracknell.

“The growing list of retailers choosing to open new stores at The Lexicon is big testament to the attractive and vibrant new town centre that is currently being built,” said Simon Russian, Development Manager for Legal & General on behalf of the Bracknell Regeneration Partnership.

“Despite some negative predictions in the run up to the EU referendum, interest from UK based and internationally based potential retailers has remained high. We look forward to making more exciting announcements as we move closer to opening,” he added.

Family-run jewellery business Beaverbrooks will open a 1,700 sq ft unit on The Avenue.
