Complete with a Gown Room featuring the brand’s bridesmaid collection and a dedicated Christmas and gift floor, the store will be the brand’s largest venture to date.

The brand is owned by Irish designer and buyer Blanaid Hennessy and is a popular destination for day and evening wear. Offering a collection of responsibly sourced products, it currently has stores in Kilkenny and Dublin City Centre.

The Dundrum pop-up will open in the second week of October and offer a personal stylist service. Additionally, Folkster’s latest party and daywear collections will be showcased alongside a diverse assortment of items, like a self-care and homewares range, a street-style vintage collection and toys, books and gift boxes for children.

Ciara Connolly, head of leasing at Hammerson Ireland, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Folkster back to Dundrum Town Centre. This premium Irish brand is a real draw for consumers, complementing the centre’s existing high-end fashion offering. We believe Folkster’s winter fashion, homeware, gifts, and toys will showcase the very best of home-grown design.”

Dundrum Town Centre is home to over 120 stores and 45 restaurants, making it one of Dublin’s leading shopping destinations. The shopping centre will get a boost next year when luxury retailer Brown Thomas opens a new flagship store in the unit previously occupied by House of Fraser.
