Estée Lauder Companies has been building its bricks-and-mortar presence in the UK over the last couple of years, launching the first ever standalone store for its eponymous brand on Carnaby Street in 2016, followed by the opening of the first Tom Ford Beauty standalone store in Covent Garden in November.

The group’s Too Faced brand, acquired in 2016, also launched its first bricks-and-mortar store in London’s Carnaby Street in December.

The La Mer pop-up will open at 13 Soho Square near Oxford Street and stock high-end skincare products, reported City AM on Tuesday.

According to the newspaper, sources said the beauty company has been also looking at the possibility of opening permanent La Mer stores in the UK, where it has yet to build a bricks-and-mortar presence.

Estée Lauder Companies also owns Jo Malone, Michael Kors Beauty, Smashbox, DKNY, Clinique and Bobby Brown.

In the second quarter of 2018, the beauty company reported a 17% sales increase to $3.74 billion, compared with $3.21 billion in the prior year period.
