The Broadgate development adjacent to London’s Liverpool Street station continues to attract a stream of strong tenants and the latest to open there are Dune London and Watches of Switzerland.

Dune London

Dune has opened a new flagship store at 100 Liverpool Street to showcase the brand’s women’s, men’s and accessories collections.

100 Liverpool Street is a new premium retail hub that — in normal times — would see a stream of visitors due to it being near to one of the UK’s busiest commuter hubs and in a key area for affluent office workers.

Dune’s new location covers 1,646 sq ft there and “incorporates new and unique premium features for the interior design concept”.

A key element inside the store is an “eye-catching suspended ceiling feature, which creates a visual draw from the entrance to the rear of the store. This is a new design treatment, unique to the flagship”.

The feature also provides “a fun Instagram moment where customers will be able to view and photograph the hero products on the suspended display”.

Other tech features include large video screens showing campaign imagery and brand messages that will be updated remotely on a regular basis.

Meanwhile, Watches of Switzerland is this month opening a two-storey boutique that includes a “specially appointed dedicated Rolex showroom”.

It has eight branded areas from partners including Audemars Piguet, Tudor, Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Hublot and Breitling while a partnered Omega Boutique will be situated alongside the main retail space. It also has a luxe private lounge and dedicated events space.

The opening marks a return to the area given that the company first began trading on Ludgate Hill back in 1924.
