CEW UK, a member organisation for individuals and professionals within the beauty industry, has announced the appointment of two new board members and the promotion of Christianne Cavaliere de Moncayo to the executive board.

The trade organisation for the cosmetics, fragrance and personal care industry said Sara Wolverson, Marketing Director of Consumer Beauty for the UK and Ireland of Coty, and Jane Henderson, Global President of Beauty and Personal Care at Mintel, are joining its UK board.

The appointments are taking the UK arm of CEW closer to meeting its goal of having a strong board of representatives and decision makers across the entire beauty platform.

Sara is an established beauty industry professional who brings unprecedented knowledge in her field, while Jane will be offering her insights regarding market data.

Additionally, existing CEW board member Christianne Cavaliere de Moncayo, CEO of the London College of Beauty Therapy, will be promoted to the executive board.

“CEW is growing globally in the UK, USA and France, which means it’s crucial that we have a strong board comprised of key women in the industry whom provide strategic insights and support for key activations and events throughout the year,” said CEW UK President Caroline Neville.

The not-for-profit organisation organises the yearly CEW Beauty Awards, known as the ‘Oscars of the Beauty Industry’, and offers a series of programmes, mentoring sessions and other events for its members.
