“The Centre for Fashion Enterprise Manufacturers Trade Show is the UK’s only trade show focused on showcasing businesses with the ability to supply small batch manufacturing,” says Judith Tolley, Head of the CFE.

The event, taking place on 10-11 October, will be presenting for the first time a curated selection of fashion tech businesses and their B2B services. The line-up includes companies from the CFE’s fashion tech business support programmes, such as production market place Sewport, stain resistant fabric innovator Induo, theft proof bag manufacturer High Sprit Bags and 3D bespoke footwear brand Solely Original.

“Building on previous success our fourth show will continue to support our vision of connecting business with manufacturers to develop long term working relationships alongside fashion tech businesses showcasing disruptive technologies, and innovative business models,” Tolley continued.

The Manufacturer’s Trade Show is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, and will focus on small batch manufacturers to cater for the hundreds of micro fashion businesses operating in the UK. According to the UK Fashion & Textile Association, more than 80% of fashion businesses in the UK are ‘micro SMEs’.
