The free destination magazine has been printed on 100% recycled and 100% recyclable Cocoon stock, and features exclusive interviews and fashion tips from some of the 160-plus brands which call Carnaby Street their home.

There are interviews with Tom’s chief giving officer Amy Smith on the footwear brand’s new Stand for Tomorrow campaign, and Bleach co-founder Alex Brownsell, as well as in-dept information about Project 0’s work. British model Georgia May Jagger, who is a brand ambassador for Project 0, fronts the cover of the sustainability issue.

Jagger, who is a partner of Bleach, commented: “I am so proud to be on the cover of Carnaby Magazine and representing both Bleach and Project 0. As one of the owners of Bleach, we are always looking to improve the sustainability of our business. It really is the lifeblood of our brand. I am really happy to be a part of an area of London that takes sustainability as seriously as we do at Bleach."

Simon Quayle, director at Shaftesbury, added: “We hope this magazine will inspire and encourage visitors to shop and dine with the environment in mind."

Shaftesbury wants to transform Carnaby Street into London’s leading eco-friendly retail and leisure destination. Several fashion brands including department store Liberty, Scotch & Soda, Brandy Melville, Lazy Oaf, Vans and Pretty Green have stores there.

The area has also recently launched a new campaign titled Carnaby Feels The Love, showcasing the ways that Carnaby brands are giving back to charity, the community and the environment.
