CWF appoints new Spain, Portugal chief

There's a change in direction for CWF (Children Worldwide Fashion) in Europe's Iberian region. Pablo Badia is leaving the group after taking on the role of general manager of Spain and Portugal in 2013.

Manuel Ildefonso has been name Badia's successor. Ildefonso previously served as head of UK and Benelux for Zannier, which was recently renamed Kidiliz Group, for six years. From 2005 to 2010, he was manager of the children's division for British luxury label Burberry in Spain.

At CWF, Pablo Badia lead retail development of the French brand's Spanish operations for three years. Two of Badia's formulated concepts were successfully installed in the territories in 2015 and 2016 : a BilliesMarket store, regrouping brands Billieblush and Billybandit, opened in Madrid, while a Kids Around boutique - the multibrand concept-store from the group formerly know as Atelier de Courcelles - was also opened in the Spanish capital.

CWF, whose head office in is Herbiers in Vendée, France, reported annual revenues of more than 160 millions euros last year. Some 65% was attributed to Europe (including France), and 35% overseas.
