Bloobloom eyewear to open five London stores

Published
Mar 22, 2023

Eyewear brand Bloobloom is adding five new UK stores with openings in key locations such as Westfield London and Battersea Power Station.

Bloobloom

As well as Westfield and Battersea, Bloobloom is opening in Covent Garden, Canary Wharf and on the King’s Road to take its total to seven stores in the UK including its existing Carnaby Street and Marylebone Village sites.

The 800 sq ft Westfield store has recently opened with those to come including its flagship at 30 James Street in Covent Garden (near Apple, Rituals and Tiffany & Co and opening at the end of next month). It will cover 1,413 sq ft over two floors.

The Battersea Power Station store on the ground floor will be slightly larger, while Canary Wharf, located at Canada Place, will cover 700 sq ft. Both will open in May. Finally, the King’s Road store will open in late June and be smaller at 400 sq ft.

The brand has a strong offer for the UK market with free eye tests and a range of sustainably made own-label frames.

Co-founder Abbas Mana said London is a strong location for the stores with its existing locations showing that the right customers — and enough demand — are there.

Bloobloom is only the latest French eyewear specialist to view opportunity in the London market with Jimmy Fairly also expanding there — and beyond the capital — at present.
