Launched by Spanish designers Uxía and María Dominguez, nieces of Adolfo Dominguez, the company continued to grow its international business, which saw a 22.2% jump in 2015. It now accounts for 26% of the company’s total revenue.

At year end, Bimba y Lola had 210 stores across 17 countries.

The label is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, as it continues to expand internationally and consolidate its brand. This year it plans to expand its presence in France, where it is set to open its 9th store in Bordeaux, and in the UK with its 10th boutique in London.

The brand has also said it plans to strengthen its business in France through a franchise model.

Additionally, the company is exploring to grow further in the Middle East and Latin America, where it is considering the opening of new stores over the year.
