The trade show will feature over 1,400 exhibitors from the world of cosmetics, in addition to over 130 events and topical panel discussions set to shed light on the most varied aspects of professional cosmetic services.

Supermodel Eva Padberg will be on hand to share her beauty secrets, along with details of her new ventures, as part of the 'Beauty Talk'. The German beauty rose to fame in the mid-1990s, before working as a presenter, actress, musician and Unicef Ambassador.

Additional expert speakers include biochemist and skin physiologist professor Dr. Michael Schmidt, who will convey insights from science and practice; Dr. Birgitt Kassen, who will talk about holistic dermatology; and makeup artist Diana Galante, who will demonstrate the tricks she uses to make faces radiate.

The show will also present a look behind the scenes of cosmetic products manufacturing, focusing on the manufacturing processes for eye shadow, ampoules and skin moisture creams.

When it comes to nails, there will be a bevy of experts on hand to discuss the latest products, care concepts and application techniques, while podiatry practices and cosmetic foot care will also be explored. A dedicated wellness segment will look at the latest wellness treatments, body treatments and spa etiquette, as well as 'Tui Na', the healing massage from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Beauty Dusseldorf runs March 4-6. For more information see www.beauty.de
