Footwear retailer Barratts has reportedly been bought out of administration for £360,000 according to the publication Insider Media. The chain fell into administration for the third time in five years this past November.

The deal includes the sales of the retailer’s ecommerce business and intellectual property, which includes the brands Barratts and Priceless shoes.

Restructuring firm Duff & Phelps were appointed administrators and closed the retailer’s 42 remaining stores between Christmas and New Year, after having shuttered 75 stores and 23 concessions since November.

On 23rd December, Yorkshire-based Pavers shoes purchased 14 Barratts stores in last-minute rescue bid and will continue to trade under the Barratts fascia for the next six months.
