British lifestyle brand Barbour International has launched its SS23 Tourer motorcycle-inspired collection with a campaign that’s once again being fronted by writer, presenter and director Reggie Yates.

The Tourer collection takes inspiration from key pieces in the Barbour International motorcycling archive, which dates back to 1936. It said the collection has been given a “contemporary twist” on Barbour International’s heritage, “embodying a new sense of discovery through a relaxed and confident aesthetic”.

Featuring a range of versatile, easy-to-wear outerwear, there are also overshirts, hoodies, tees, and polos. The colour palette for the season includes monochromatic tones with splashes of blues and greens.

Campaign star Yates said: “As someone who prides themselves on following their own path, the values and longevity of Barbour International align with everything that has given me a career that continues to evolve. Originality and timeless style go hand in hand. Excited doesn’t begin to describe how I feel about this collaboration.”

To tilt its fashion credentials yet further towards a younger market, Barbour in December collaborated with Chloé’s womenswear for a spring summer 23 collection. Geared up to deal with the cool showery weather of the great South American outdoors ,they co-designed a coat, jacket, cape and a series of accessories, all featuring the tartan patterns and the oiled cotton canvas, typical of the brand founded by John Barbour in 1894.
