Castore continues to build on its ever-growing links with a range of UK sports. The sportswear brand, which has professional associations with footfall, rugby, cricket, tennis and motor racing, is developing its latter association with the McLaren Formula 1 racing team, co-launching a 2022 season-long campaign called ‘What It Takes’.

The campaign has been designed to “showcase the synergies between the two brands and the mutual understanding of what it takes to keep moving forward”.
Central to the launch is a campaign film featuring McLaren F1 drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo to support the release of the McLaren Racing x Castore range of replica, performance, fanwear and limited-edition clothing and accessories.
The range, designed and manufactured using Castore’s "advanced engineering techniques and lightweight technical fabrics", will be worn by Norris and Ricciardo throughout the F1 season.
Hero products in the range include Norris and Ricciardo fanwear tees, featuring the McLaren team logos and respective LN4 and DR3 tags on the reverse. A fanwear hoody also features the McLaren team logo.
The clothing will be available via both Castore’and McLaren’s e-commerce platforms from 9 February.
“What It Takes is a defining moment for Castore, as [we mark our] next step into the automotive world and solidifies [our] place as part of the future of the sport”, the brand said.
Tom Beahon, co-founder, Castore added: “F1 is the perfect place for Castore to showcase our beliefs and we are thrilled to be taking these bold next steps in automotive alongside a brand and partner that shares our demand for excellence and unwavering commitment to innovation.”
